Hamilton Hotel teams up with Waikato Women’s Fund for International Women’s Day
This International Women’s Day, the city’s newest hospitality hotspot, the Hamilton Hotel is turning up the fun with a little sparkle and a lot of laughs, all for a very good cause.
In partnership with the Waikato Women’s Fund, the Hamilton Hotel has created a signature beverage, the WWF Bramble, and a contribution from every purchase will be donated to the Fund to support women in the Waikato region.
The Waikato Women’s Fund is an endowment fund, administered by Momentum Waikato Community Foundation, that supports projects empowering women, fostering leadership, and creating opportunities across the region.
The support continues the following week over the three nights that Menopause the Musical takes to the stage and has audiences in stitches at the new BNZ Theatre.
“International Women’s Day is all about celebrating women,” says the team at the Hamilton Hotel. “We wanted to create a reason to get out, have fun, and raise a toast to women everywhere, while giving back to the amazing work the Waikato Women’s Fund does.”
Natasha Harvey, a founding member of the Waikato Women’s Fund, says this is a fun, community-spirited initiative, for a good cause and aligns well with the theme for International Women’s Day 2026, Give to Gain.
“We think celebrating women should always involve good company, a few laughs, and maybe a great cocktail. This is a brilliant way to mark International Women’s Day. People can enjoy a night out at the brand new BNZ Theatre while also supporting a fund that’s working for women not just today, but well into the future. Their contribution on the night will be a legacy and we have the Hamilton Hotel to thank for supporting that.”
For long-term impact, regular donations to the Waikato Women’s Fund are also appreciated.
