We're well pleased to announce that Debbie Stevens has been appointed as our new Relationship Manager, starting in the New Year.
This is a part-time role focused on networking with professional advisors, such as lawyers, accountants and others who talk to people about their charitable generosity and legacy making, as well as supporting our general outreach to potential donors and bequestors.
Debbie is excited to be joining Momentum Waikato.
“As a Waikato communications professional who has worked in the education sector for over 30 years, the opportunity to contribute to the work of the mighty Momentum team and positively impact this region, is incredibly motivating,” says Debbie.
“I have spent most of my life living in the Waikato, receiving my education at Hamilton Girls' High School, Wintec and The University of Waikato.
“Certainly, I feel fortunate to live in a region that boasts stunning natural beauty, a rich cultural heritage, diverse industries, innovative businesses, and strong community spirit.
“The Waikato plays a vital role in New Zealand's economy, and projections show substantial growth in the coming decades. Momentum will play a crucial role in this growth, bringing together resources, expertise, and passion to ensure a more vibrant, equitable, and sustainable future for everyone in the Waikato.
“Momentum has already demonstrably improved the lives of many in the Waikato through impactful grant-making and community initiatives. It is an immense honour to have the opportunity to work alongside this dedicated team, striving to help build ‘A Better Waikato for Everyone, Forever’,” says Debbie.
We’re looking forward to working with Debbie! Onwards!
