it's a pleasure to announce the recipients of the Waikato Women’s Fund grant round for 2025:

Insight Endometriosis Charitable Trust

SheENG at Waikato

Waikato Arab Social Club Retreat for Women and Girls

Thrive Otorohanga Youth Trust.

Each organisation or programme will this year receive a grant of $4,880.

The process of recipient selection is through membership voting, so a huge thanks to those of you who voted for the Waikato Women’s Fund to support the above groups.

At the core of the Fund’s principles are Kotahitanga, standing together in unity and solidarity; and Manaakitanga, welcoming care and showing generosity to all.

The Waikato Women’s Fund is a giving circle designed to encourage anyone to donate any amount. By investing in women, the Fund amplifies women’s voices, growth, and development.

All donations are invested into the Waikato Women’s Fund endowment managed by Momentum Waikato Community Foundation. Annually, distributions are made to groups nominated and voted on by the members.

New members are welcome and can join by either donating to the Fund and/or by stepping into a Kaitiaki role to help advance its mahi.
