Chris Williams has recently joined the Momentum Waikato Board.
Chris is Director and Shareholder of King St Advertising, an agency he has owned and run since 1999 and a creative business in the industry he has worked in his whole career.
A great believer in the Waikato, Chris has helped drive and grow the region’s creative community via King St’s sponsorships and his various governance roles.
He was founding Chair of Creative Waikato, and Chair of Clarence St Theatre when its ownership was transferred to the Trust.
For the last 15 years he has been Chair of Hamilton Arts Festival/Toi ora ki Kirikiriroa, which he has helped grow into the largest regional arts festival in New Zealand.
Recently, Chris was appointed to the Alcohol and Drug Community Support Trust, where he is helping solidify their funding base.
Chris has a Bachelor of Management Studies majoring in Marketing and Accounting. Outside work he is an active musician, composer and producer, and has so far written and produced three stage musicals.
