Farewell and thanks to David Christiansen

A huge thanks to David Christiansen, who ended his time as our Executive Officer earlier this month after two years in the position.
“Those who know me will know I’ve filled a number of challenging roles over the last ten years,” said Dave when his move was first announced to stakeholders in July.
“I’ve therefore decided it is time for me to have a break for a while and spend some time with family, re-engage with the outdoors and generally recharge, before thinking about what I want my next chapter to be.
“The first thing I’ll be doing is visiting Perth to spend a good amount of time with my sons.
“I’ve loved my time at Momentum Waikato and I’m still really passionate about the work of the not-for-profit sector and especially what the nationwide community foundations network is achieving.
“With the BNZ Theatre now built and in operation, Momentum Waikato has moved into a new era, and I believe I’m leaving the organisation in a strong position to pursue its next strategic priorities.”
The recruitment of Dave’s successor is now well advanced and the appointment will be announced when it is made.
