Nau Mai, Haere Mai and Welcome. This month marks three years since our first issue, so a hat tip to those of you who have been along for the ride since June 2016!
Secure your trust’s future
Kelvyn Eglinton, Momentum Waikato Chief Executive
Many in the business community put their time, energy and expertise into being trustees of not-for-profit organisations, incorporated societies or charitable trusts that distribute or use their funds to meet community needs. If this is you, you’ll know first-hand that the management of such groups’ capital or trust funds is not getting any easier.
Which is why Momentum Waikato is now in discussion with a number of boards who are considering transferring their funds or assets to our management and stewardship.

Following on from the front-page Waikato Times story last month, we can tell you the Independent Panel has now reviewed our Provincial Growth Fund application and have requested some further information, which has been dispatched. This is an extra step, which means it is now late June’s ministerial meeting, at the earliest, where the decision will be made. So, we expect to hear more before the end of the month - thanks for your continued support!

“I enjoyed being part of a dedicated governance group committed to the intergenerational prosperity of the Waikato region,” says Parekawhia.
