Hillcrest High School Future Fund

Enable the Alumni of Hillcrest High School to support the great programs and further development of their old school and its students’ access to learning.
Hillcrest High School is well known for producing artistic and creative graduates, reflecting its holistic approach to education, which encourages students to try things out and become successful all-rounders.
The second largest school in Hamilton, with 1800 students and 79 ethnicities, Hillcrest High School’s goal is “to educate and develop young people of whom our community will be proud”.
The Hillcrest High School Alumni and Community Society set up the Hillcrest High School Future Fund to tangibly support the school that gave its diverse members a great start in life.

Hillcrest High does an outstanding job with the funding it receives from the Government, but as with any school, the more resources the staff have, the more they can do for their students.
The Alumni Society’s Fund therefore aims to provide their old school with a secure additional income stream, so it can continue its specific projects and programs and provide teaching resources.
Over time the Hillcrest High School Future Fund will grow through donations, bequests and market returns to the point that it can actively support the school’s development aspirations, the current one being to build a new Performing Arts Centre.
Anyone who attended or worked at Hillcrest High or otherwise supports it as a great school in their community, is invited to donate towards the Hillcrest High School Future Fund.
