IT Partners Group is made up of IT Partners and Lightwire. Both companies are based here in the Waikato and are actively involved in the community.

IT is integral to our communications, whether for personal or professional reasons, and there are very few things more frustrating than not being connected. But there is a common misconception that fast, reliable internet is expensive, and for many charities and community groups, every penny counts.

We offer subsidised ultra-fast fibre broadband (UFB) connections to over 20 not-for-profit organisations. Lightwire also provides free Wi-Fi to patients and visitors at Waikato Hospital. At any one time there are up to 1200 users accessing this free Wi-Fi connection, a clear indication of how important being able to keep in touch with friends and family is.

Philips Search and Rescue Trust, the operators of the Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter, also receive an UFB fibre connection for its fundraising office courtesy of Lightwire. Other groups supported by IT Partners Group include Alzheimers Waikato Charitable Trust, Habitat for Humanity, The Meteor, Age Concern, Creative Waikato, and various church and community groups around the city.

IT Partners Group is in a privileged position to be able to support these groups with their IT requirements. It is an opportunity for us to get a greater understanding of the various community organisations that work here in the Waikato and for us to provide a solid foundation on which they can grow and deliver valuable services.

We are also proud to be a partner with Momentum Waikato providing their IT, Broadband and Communication systems, as our small way of helping create community.
