On 31 October 2019, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern delivered the good news that the Government's Provincial Growth Fund is granting $12 million towards the Waikato Regional Theatre project driven by Momentum Waikato.
This marked the point where the project went 'live', so a huge thank you to all the funders and everyone who has donated and supported the theatre to date.
