Welcome to our latest update as we share some of our great new stories with you.

Firstly, we are proud to announce the outstanding generosity and leadership of Trust Waikato, which is providing a $15million donation towards the development of the new Waikato Regional Theatre.

We are also humbled by the gifts being made by many generous donors for the Waikato’s new creative precinct, including Charlotte Isaac - whose story is shared below. And if you haven’t read the report and provided your feedback on Charcoalblue’s design concept and location for the theatre, you can do so by clicking here.

Finally, I will be leaving Momentum Waikato Community Foundation at the end of 2017. It has been an honour to serve our community for the past four years as the founding Chief Executive, and as I reflect-back on what has been achieved since the outset, there are many things to be proud of. My last day will be in December, and I will be working hard until then with my trustees and team to ensure the Vital Impact Programme continues to flourish, and the Waikato Regional Theatre moves from probable to happening.

As for me, 2018 will bring another exciting challenge – I’m aiming to establish a new global platform for generosity. I look forward to continuing my relationship with Momentum Waikato long into the future as a donor and a friend.

More details about the recruitment for the next CEO can be found below, and if you are a visionary leader and think you may be Momentum Waikato’s next CEO, make sure you also read about the wonderful dream team you could be working with from 2018.

I trust you enjoy reading our latest update. Please feel free to share this newsletter with others so that we can all continue to create a better Waikato for everyone, forever.

With my very best wishes,

Ka kite ano
